Springwood Primary School serves the whole of the City of Salford and provides specialist education for all of whom have an Education Health Care Plan. Some pupils have profound, complex or challenging needs.

Based over three sites.  Springwood Craig Hall, based in Irlam – for pupils in EYFS and Key Stage One, Springwood Hub based at Summerville Primary School for pupils in Key Stage One/Lower Key Stage Two and Springwood Swinton for pupils in Key Stage Two.

September 2017 saw the opening of the new Early Years provision in Irlam.  All of the Early Years pupils are now at Craig Hall in Irlam and are enjoying the superb facilities. The new expansion to Craig Hall site is now fully opened and they have welcomed new pupils and families who have joined the school as a result.
