Irlam and Cadishead History Society have been an active group for several decades and have produced a number of booklets by several authors from the society, Cyril Wheaton and James Goodier to name just two.

The group meet the third Wednesday of most months with an interesting talk delivered at most of the meetings.  For the 2023-2024 schedule of speakers click on the pdf below.

Interested parties can join the Society and become a  member,  the talks then are free.  Or you can simply turn up, where you will be made most welcome to attend for a donation.
