Cadishead Wesley Methodist Church
Cadishead Wesley Methodist Chapel was the first place of worship to be built in Cadishead on Lord’s Street in 1807, when it was the centre of community life, reflecting the parochial outlook of the congregation – mainly farmers and fustian cutters. A potted history can be found on the Churches own website as did you know, the Chapel did relocate to a site on Liverpool Road in 1874 where Arnold Laver is now until moving back to Lord’s Street in 1977!
