1st Cadishead Scout Group
Scouts are the largest mixed youth organisation in the UK and offer exciting opportunities to young people between the ages of 6 and 25.
Scout groups help young people develop skills through fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventures and the chance to help others.
Based at Cadishead Scout Headquarters, the group hold term time only sessions for boys and girls across the following age groups and sections:
Beavers (6-8 years), meet on Tuesday evenings. Beavers are the youngest group within the Scout family and offer a fun range of indoor and outdoor activities for boys and girls aged 6 – 8 years old.
Scouts (10-14 years), meet on Tuesday evenings after Beavers. Scouts get involved in diverse activities from kayaking, abseiling and climbing, to zorbing, photography and expeditions overseas. Survival skills are taught, alongside first aid, computer programming and even how to fly a plane. There is something for everyone!
Cubs (8-10 years), meet on Wednesday evenings. Open to both girls and boys, Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be both challenging and interesting and can include camps and holidays.
