Do you want to know about the origins of dragonflies and how they came to be, then come and meet Professor Jigget and let him tell you the story and see his dragon artefacts.
Please note Professor Jigget’s performances will be taking place at:
14:00 – 14:30
15:15 – 15:45
Watch the parade of the dragonfly lanterns at the start of the festival (subject to weather) that have been made by local community groups in the area and see the different designs that have been created.
Meet Toby the dragon and learn about his story, you may even be lucky enough to feed him!
Hunt around the park for Dragonfly themed Pebble art hidden around the site.
Learn about why our mosslands are important and make a bog in a box with the Friends of Chat Moss.
There will be dragonfly themed arts and craft activities running on the day, as well as other stalls promoting local businesses and charities, where items can be purchased.
Food can be purchased from the recently refurbished Central Park Cafe on site at the Prince’s Park Garden Centre.
The location of the festival will be in the field opposite the Prince’s Park Garden Centre & Training Hub where the old swimming pool is.
We look forward to welcoming you on the day.
